Maya Pindyck is the author of Friend Among Stones, recipient of the Many Voices Project Award from New Rivers Press, and Locket, Master, selected by Paul Muldoon for a Poetry Society of America Chapbook Fellowship. Her artwork has been shown at the House of Art and Multimedia (H.A.M.) in Berkeley, Berliner Kunstprojekt in Berlin, 450 Broadway Gallery in New York City, and elsewhere. She received her M.F.A. in poetry from Sarah Lawrence College and her M.A. in education as a New York City Teaching Fellow. Currently, Maya lives and teaches in Brooklyn.
